This page is designed to provide assistance to you in the event of any incident which might give rise to a claim.


Legal Liabilities:

To enable completion of the potential claim without delay and mitigate damage or injury it is imperative the following steps be taken:

Take all necessary steps (where safe to do so) to preserve life or property;

Under no circumstances must any person make any statement implying fault or acceptance of responsibility;

Prepare and obtain any relevant witness statements or supplementary information relevant to a possible claim;

Contact Modern Risk Solutions and your internal or external appointed legal counsel who will advise what action to take;

Do not respond to any third party correspondence other than to advise that future correspondence is to be referred directly to your legal counsel and/or Modern Risk Solutions.


Your Assets:

To enable completion of the potential claim without delay and mitigate damage or injury it is imperative the following steps be taken:

All reasonable steps (where it is safe to do so) should be taken immediately to protect the property or the person(s) following an accident or loss (this may involve contacting emergency services, police or the fire brigade);

Do not admit liability or take any action which could be construed as an admission of liability;

If Machinery has failed commence investigations to locate replacement plant or services;

Contact Modern Risk Solutions and complete all claims documentation and/or supporting evidence which should be forwarded without delay.

In the event of an emergency where immediate work is required to protect property assets only (not motor or machinery) from further damage and administer repair, Modern Risk Solutions and our partners at PSC Connect have secured access to 24 hour emergency response from The Johns Lyng Group.


How it Works (Property Risks Only)

  1. Call Johns Lyng Group 24 hours Emergency Response Hotline 1300 809 949.
  2. A trained operator takes the emergency details.
  3. A mitigation specialist may attend the site.
  4. Client’s loss is mitigated within 24 hours.
  5. We give you the information you need.
  6. Claim is either finalised or continues depending on the severity of the claim.

Note: Johns Lyng Group do not confirm indemnity to a claim and any cost of repairs from an uninsured loss will be borne by the Client.
